Her interest in African wildlife conservation started as a child when her great uncle, first Chairman of the Trustees, Uganda National Parks, in the 1950s recounted managing the abundant wildlife and creating routes for the 6,000 elephants migrating annually through the parks.
Two transformative safaris to the Serengeti, Tanzania, and close wildlife encounters in the Okavango inspired her to pen the 17 Photo Tales and to make an ardent call to conserve these last untouched wildernesses. For once the wildlife vanishes, we forever lose a part of our quintessential selves.
Part of the proceeds from this book will be donated to the Botswana Predator Conservation Trust Wild Dog Project.
